Yummy Shrikhand Recipe


Shrikhand




Ingredients:

2 cups plain yogurt
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp rose water
1/2 tsp ground cardamom
Dash of ground nutmeg
Few threads of saffron
4 teaspoons finely chopped green pistachios

Recipe:

Place yogurt in a clean muslin cloth and hang from a hook to let all the liquid drain. This will leave you with a thick, cheese-like mix.
Transfer this to a bowl. Mix in sugar, rose water, cardamom, nutmeg and saffron. Mix vigorously till the sugar dissolves.
Refrigerate till chilled, at least 2 hours.
Top with pistachios and serve.
